Don’t forget to watch our very own Dr. Bob Rafford on the May 11th episode of Who Do You Think You Are?!  Although he did research for other seasons, this will be his TV debut.  I know I will be tuning in, will you?

At our April meeting, we had a Coming Out party for the 1940 Federal Census and toasted our members who outlived the 72 year average life expectancy and can be found in the schedules.  Have you been able to find your family members in the 1940 Census?  Are you enumerated in the 1940 Census?

Remember May is our field trip month and do NOT have our regular meeting at Middlebury Library.  This year we are visiting the Connecticut Historical Society in Hartford.  No one signed up for the carpools at the April meeting, so if you are planning on driving there yourself, we are meeting at 9:00am.  Admission charges are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors (over 65), and CHS members free.  Visit their website for further information – www.chs.org.
